Douglas Bizzaro is a photographer and Director who has achieved worldwide visibility through his editorial magazine work, exhibitions, and commissions. For over 25 years, he has traveled extensively to create pictures that challenge the conventional interpretation of beauty. Douglas’ work demonstrates a signature color palate, distinctive lighting, and a sophisticated elegance that is instantly recognizable. He has been commissioned to photograph many of the mosticonic personalities of our time such as Madonna, Cher, and Drew Barrymore.
Douglas's imagery has been the subject of numerous photography magazine articles including cover stories for Digital Photographer (UK), Smart Photography (India), Fashion Photo (UK), Trendsetter (Turkey), Modern Artist (US), and books such as “World’s Greatest Black and White Photography” (Book Basil Publishing) Douglas has lectured at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
In addition to his book and magazine work, Douglas has photographed advertising campaigns for some of the most prestigious companies in the world including The Ritz Carlton and Jean Paul Gautier as well as several combination Motion and Still photography projects such as an assignment for FORD motors featuring multi platinum Grammy winning artist Kelly Clarkson.
Douglas has had many National Television appearances, most notably as a photographer and judge on the highly rated series Americas Next Top Model. Douglas photographed the top ten finalists and sat on the judging panel along with Tyra Banks, Janice Dickinson, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Beau Quillian (Editor of Marie Claire Magazine) The show received the networks highest ratings and has since been syndicated internationally in 170 countries and regions.
